RediClinic to open 20 new clinics in H-E-B stores across Texas (Medical News)

RediClinic ®, a leader of the retail-based health care clinics operator today announced it will open new clinics 20 H-E-B stores in Texas. The expansion will be almost double database the 21 H-E-B RediClinics currently in operation, enabling RediClinic provide for Texans more with easy access to high quality care at an affordable price.

Eight new RediClinics are planned to open in H-E-B stores in Houston, Austin and San Antonio markets at the end of January, 2011. The three new San Antonio RediClinics work San Antonio in affiliation with the Methodist health care system.

"We look forward to meet the growing needs of Texans for prevention by increasing our capacity to Houston and Austin, bringing our unique model of care accessible and affordable to the residents of San Antonio and primary health care access."

RediClinic collaborates with major in all of its markets, health care systems to ensure the quality and continuity of care. In addition to its new membership of San Antonio with Methodist health care system, RediClinic is affiliated Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, and St. David's healthcare in Austin.

Expansion of the RediClinic is a sign of a growing need for new solutions in health care reform era. "As demand for primary and preventive care continues to supply circuit and that costs continue to back at unsustainable rates, the new models emerge, said." Golinkin. "RediClinic has spent the past five years to develop a new model of care that enhances access, and reducing costs without sacrificing quality and time is just start making it more widely available.

RediClinics are staffed by certified nurses practitioners and physician assistants who work with local doctors to diagnose, treat, and prescribe drugs for common ailments. RediClinic also offers a wide range of services of prevention, including immunizations, health screenings, medical examinations and physical examinations.  RediClinics is open seven days a week, long weekend hours and no appointment is necessary.
