TOKYO (Reuters Life!) - Tokyo mothers want their children grow up treasure friends and avoid worry about other people, while those of Beijing hopes that their offspring will be talented to work and Seoul moms want to play a leadership role.
In General, a survey of mothers in five cities in Asia - Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei - showed Tokyo mothers emphasizing human ties while those in other cities are-more success-oriented, says a business Japanese teaching Benesse Holdings related Research Institute.
While mothers in all areas expressed their wish to top of page for their children is that they would become "people who cherish their families, their desires and two months varied greatly.
Mothers in China said they hoped that their children would be "persons who displayed their job skills" and "respected by others," then only those popular Taipei "be able to convince others" with "skilled labour.
Seoul mothers wanted their children to provide leadership and make money.
Isn't surprise to China's hungry prestige 70% Shanghai mothers and 62% of the people in Beijing said they wanted their children attend a famous University, surpassing even the South Korea obsessed parent education — came in third.
